Here I wanted to play with the unique opportunity film creates for movement sequences. If I were to perform the series of movements presented here for an actual audience I would not be able to achieve the same effect. Film and editing allows for rapid repeat and reset of movements, limiting the scope of what is seen, and dramatic shifts in proximity to the audience. This is my first experience with this type of practice and it revealed a lot of new ideas about movement and audience perspective.
