Even though convalescent plasma has not panned out in treating COVID-19, the altruism of donation is laudable. It would be wonderful if these donors continue to donate plasma and blood after the pandemic. My thanks and congratulations to the authors.

Thank you for your comment! We hope the new first-time donors who started donating during the pandemic continue to donate in the future as well.

Great job, and excellent response rate! It's good to know that altruism still exists in our increasingly divided community.

Thank you so much! Yes, it was very uplifting to see that even in such dark times, our humanism can still shine through!

Great poster and effective use of surveying! Were there any changes in how a donor who had previously had COVID-19 would go about donating since donation guidelines can be strict (in terms of travel, past vaccination, etc)?
