As Vermont farmers and food producers are adjusting to new ways of selling local product to customers, they are also seeking to create meaningful and fun interactions that support community and build relationships. Come learn from farmers, food producers and professionals working in regional agritourism on how they're creating virtual experiences that keep their customer relationships strong, even while groups are unable to come to their property.
Presenters included Mark Ray from Stowe Cider, Tara Pereira from Vermont Fresh Network, and Shane Rogers of Rooted in Vermont, Vermont Farm to Plate in a conversation facilitated by UVM Extension's Lisa Chase in partnership with the UVM Center for Sustainable Agriculture. This was part of the Sourcing & Selling VT Food in the Time of Covid-19 series.
