My Integrated Fine Arts class, Film Begets Film, has a tradition of creating an experimental projection on outdoor walls on campus. This year the class was introduced to a new software by John Forbes in Theatre. QLab allows the user to create multiple screens for projection. We used our limited experience with the software to imagine ways to combine and create relationships between the screens. With QLab we could project the individual screens on any surface we choose. This video combines the streams this group made into one screen for viewing on-line. At this point, we just started to see possibilities. I hope to take this experience forward in next year's class.
