My last weekly rites video was of me creating some movement in the small area of my bedroom. It made me want to try the same idea but in a larger space. I wasn't planning on doing this yesterday (Sunday.) But I got out of dance class early so I decided to use my extra time by doing my weekly rites video in an empty squash court. Typically, I do some small amount of editing to fix my videos and cut them down to the parts that I like. But this time I tried to barely edit at all to get the full experience. I've never done anything like this before. Of course, I've watched myself dance in my recitals tapes. But this time was very different. I found my self looking for moments that attracted my attention rather than judging myself, which is usually what I do when watching my recital and competition team tapes.
